Windows 11 Professional System Requirements

Before installing Windows 11 Professional, ensure your PC meets the following minimum requirements. If your device does not meet these specifications, you may need to purchase a new PC.

Minimum System Requirements:

• Processor:
  • A compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC) with a speed of 1 GHz or faster and at least 2 cores.
• RAM:
  • 4 GB of RAM.
• Storage:

• System Firmware:
  • UEFI with Secure Boot capability. Check for details on how to meet this requirement.
• TPM (Trusted Platform Module):
  • TPM version 2.0. Follow instructions on enabling this requirement for your PC.
• Graphics Card:
  • DirectX 12 or later compatibility with a WDDM 2.0 driver.
• Display:
  • A high-definition (720p) display larger than 9 inches diagonally with 8 bits per color channel.
• Internet and Microsoft Account:
  • An internet connection and a Microsoft account are essential during the initial setup of Windows 11 Professional. Internet access is also required for updates and certain features.
